Inspection and Delivery

We excel at getting your stone to your jobsite - in one piece!

Your order includes, itemized list, photographs, signed dimensions on each measurement
of your drawings. Weight of pallets and pallet numbers.

We inspect and photograph every dimension of every stone, before our manager signs off on your drawings, before packaging.

The delivery process:

Ships and Trucks

We load the container at our factory, drive to a local port, load on a barge for a 2 day ride to the coast, where it gets loaded on a truck and taken to a major port. It gets loaded on a ship, then it travels to 5 other ports for 3 weeks, then it offloads at your port. From there it gets trucked to a customs approved freight forwarding warehouse. In an hour or days, eventually US Customs releases the order. We get it trucked to a marshaling yard and unloaded, or if we are ready to except it, get delivered directly to our yard. From there we have received payment and can have it delivered to your jobsite by a local piggyback type forklift flatbed service. We mastered the art of perfect packaging. It needs to hold the heavy stone extremely secure, or havoc ensues.

RAIL:

As far as we know, we are the only stone company that is confident enough with our packaging abilities that we can ship architectural stone (class 50) by rail. Class 50 stone (typically stone blocks) is always placed at the end of the train. Problem: It gets whiplashed and breaks packaging holding fine finish stone instantly. Not us. I teach packaging wherever I work and have had a 100% success rate.

AIR:

On several occasions we have needed to ship entire orders by air. It's not expensive, but the stone arrives on the site that day or the next.
